~earlier the previous day~
Sky is a celloist and my dear dear friend. She didn't know much about anime till I showed the light onto her world with NARUTO! I have turned her into a Narutard (as hayley calls us) becuase it is her fav anime and she bought a Konoha head band, whilst I have a sound ninja one. Now, waiting for spanish class to start...
Sky: Hey, Christy, Cartoon Network is going to show Naruto! Isn't that awesome?
Me: Dearest Sky, we must be wary! There is a high chance that the english voices are crap, and since its on a nine they have to edit it.
Sky: what could they edit anyway? there is not a lot of cursing?
Me: Any blood that is a stain on their shirt! If blood splatters, you won't see it here! So, this is a risky business because they might just ruin it...

.... if only I knew how right I was....
~next night~
My mum said "hey, didn't you wanna see Naruto tongith?"
Me: Why yes, I wanted to see if they did a good or bad job. Thanks for reminding me.
*turns on to channel 59... aka cartoon network*
Naruto: (Imagine a little bit husky, whiny, little kid voice) I am gonna be the *ho-kA-geh. ME! ... (a weird pause) UZUMAKI NARUTO!

~back to my commentary~ I AM SCARRED! Such weird voice, it makes Naruto sound like some weird little emo whiner!

~back to the show~
*Iruka just stopped the blade-thingy from hitting Naruto... there is now a giant blade in his back... but no blood whatsoever... it seems that int he english version, ninjas dont' bleed!~
Mi-ZU-ki: YOu are the.... (another weird pause) nine-tailed ... fox DEMON!
Iruka: NALRUTO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! *imagine a weird blue "i am stunned" background*

Me: I keep watching, even though it hurts! I must be a masochist in denail!
At the end of the show I wrote down some commentary by me, and I feel like putting it down here.

English Naruto voices: Makes you wish you didn't have ears.
English... turning good anime into crap!
*weird little happy "thanks for the compliment voice"* Its what we do!

The beginning sequence is different: different pictures (from the show and bunch of different beginning sequences) and the song is something I have NEVER heard on any Naruto soundtrack. Its like, random and the ending sequence is the same way.

Voices in level of pain it caused me:
Naruto
Teacher with the glasses
Konohamaru
Iruka / hokage

I am so glad I didn't have to hear Sasuke or Sakura.... I can't allow them to hurt the voice of the SEXY ONE! *praises sasuke.... and gaara!*

also... no blood, what-so-ever! It seems ninjas just don't bleed if they speak english!

How I feel after the one hour of PAIN!?....
When I saw it in english, my respect for the show got killed *I watched numerous shows in japanese again to gain that respect back*. In english, the anime seems cheap, corny and stereotypical... when earlier I praised the anime for its detail and smooth movements of the characters when they fight.... somehow in english, they make it all seem so, so cheap? *thats the only way I can truly describe it*

Closest to funny:
*when konohamaru turned to a chick*
"Hi there, like my jutsu?"
I thought: well, it be a SMIDGEN humerous, but still, wrong.... *cries in corner*

Naruto's english voice actoer: Maile Fangon
... I don't care who you are, but I don't like your VOICE!


... well, I felt I needed to warn people of the dangers of this show in its english form... save your ears from the HORROR!

P.S.
Even my mum (who is not the biggest supporter of my animes, especially if I buy it online in japanese ... Naruot being the only I have done that too....) and she said about their english "wow.... I think japanese is way better than this crap! Naruto sounds like a little whiner and everything is so wrong!"

P.P.S.
I am also aware that this has NOTHING to do with Hiei, but is an outrage to my anime world and I want you guys to feel a part of that... not the rage, my anime-world-ness...

I am sorry for being so un-active. I have been working as hard as I can with all the time I am not using on my college application and summer school. I am trying hard my dears, so please, keep up with your much appreciated patience.
